Postal Service

Here are a few of the most common questions my office receives that deal with the U.S. Postal Service:

What are the new postal rates?

Postage prices for many mail services have been changing.  Effective July 10, 2022, the price of a First-Class Stamp rose to $0.60.

To find the latest information on rates, visit the U.S. Postal Service website. You are also encouraged to visit the USPS at Newsroom – About.usps.com for up to date information and other important resources.

How can I get information on jobs with the Postal Service?

The Postal Service hosts multiple job fairs at different sites throughout The Valley. Times and locations can be found in their online newsroom at Arizona local news – Newsroom – About.usps.com

To get more information on the requirements and application process, visit the U.S. Postal Service website.

For information on all Federal job opportunities, visit the Federal job openings page.

Where is the closest Post Office?

To find your nearest Post Office, visit the Services Locator page at the U.S. Postal Service website.

Although it is possible to order stamps and do other postal functions online, there are still times when you have to visit a Post Office. For example, Post Offices still serve as a registration point for Selective Service and many major Post Offices in larger communities handle Passport applications.

If you would like my help with a postal issue, please do not hesitate to contact my Scottsdale District Office staff at 480-946-2411.
