REP. SCHWEIKERT HOSTS TELE-TOWN HALL MEETING ON FIRST DAY AS CONGRESSMAN

Washington, D.C. – Congressman David Schweikert held his first tele-town hall meeting last night after being sworn into the 112th Congress. Thousands of constituents participated in the call and shared their feedback for the new Congress.

"It is clear from the questions, concerns, and comments brought up on the call, the people of Arizona’s 5th District are concerned first and foremost about jobs and the economy. It is no secret that America is broke and there is no other way to get us back on the road to prosperity but to reign in our spending and to take responsibility of our debt.

"Arizonans deserve pro-growth policies that promote economic freedom and prosperity."

Schweikert plans to host tele-town hall meetings on a monthly basis to remain as accessible and accountable to the communities of Arizona’s 5th District as possible. Please contact his Washington, D.C. office at 202-226-2190 if you have any questions about future tele-town halls.
