WASHINGTON D.C – Today, Congressman David Schweikert (AZ-06) released the following statement in response to President Biden’s vaccine mandate rule released by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration:

“Sadly, Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate on American companies is just the latest assult on American job creators and their employees. After nearly eighteen months of lockdowns and strict covid protocols forced on businesses, Arizonans should consult with their doctor, not their employer, about whether they should receive a vaccine or not. Small businesses have endured enough. Biden’s federal overreach will punish them and their employees even further for noncompliance. Even more, he’s pushing for $3 trillion in new spending on Green New Deal policies and tax increases. Combined, these forced mandates and tax hikes will only hurt, not help our economy,” said Rep. Schweikert.
