Scottsdale, Ariz., February 18, 2014—Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ) released this statement after visiting science and technology companies throughout the Phoenix Metro area today:
“Every business I visited today proved the strong impact that innovative technology has on job growth and development here in Arizona,” said Schweikert. Companies like these are not only the future of our economic growth but one of the many reasons we need continued focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in schools.
“It is rewarding to see businesses in Arizona who have been able to successfully drive technology forward during tough economic times. We must continue to work to improve the availability of capital funding so that more businesses like these can take hold and thrive in the technology sector here at home and across the US.”
