Washington D.C., February 1, 2014– After the State Department released findings on the environmental impact of the Keystone XL Pipeline, Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ), House Science, Space and Technology Subcommittee on the Environment Chairman released the following statement:
"The President’s own State Department has shown us, again, the Keystone Pipeline is a great investment in our energy future. This environmentally safe pipeline reduces our dependence on foreign oil and opens the floodgates for economic security and job growth, right here in America. This is President Obama’s opportunity to actually keep his promise and support an all of the above approach to energy independence."
