Rep. Schweikert on Latest Delay in President’s Health Care Plan

WASHINGTON D.C., November 27, 2013 — Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ), Chairman of the House Small Business Subcommittee on Investigations, Oversight and Regulations, released the following statement regarding the latest delay in the implementation of the President’s health care plan:

“Working families and small business owners cannot plan for their family’s health care when there is so much uncertainty in the implementation of the President’s health care plan.  For three years, the American people were promised a working, affordable and dependable health care system. Instead, it’s been a long-list of delays and broken promises.

“How many more Americans will have to lose their coverage before the President concedes that Washington and government are simply incapable of acting as the nation’s health care administrator?  It’s time to put politics aside and for the President to work with Congress to go through his health care plan line-by-line, dollar-by-dollar so we can understand the financial and economic consequences of this system and what delays the American people can expect next.”
