REP. SCHWEIKERT REMEMBERS HOLOCAUST DAY

Washington, D.C. –Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ) made the following statement today in remembrance of Holocaust Day:

“Today we remember the six million Jewish lives lost under a regime of hate and horror. The Holocaust is something that should be taught and remembered by every generation, not for the evil, terror, and ashes, but for the hope, freedom, and strength that rose from them.

“May we never forget the life and liberty stolen from so many simply because of race and creed.  Further, may we always stay vigilant to ensure that “never again” does not only apply to the past, but to the future.”
