MEDIA ADVISORY: REP. SCHWEIKERT TO PUMP GAS AT SCOTTSDALE GAS STATION

Scottsdale, AZ – On Wednesday, March 14, Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ) will be spending some time in Scottsdale at the pump talking to constituents and filling up gas tanks.

Everyone is feeling the pain at the pump as prices are increasing. How is it affecting you? What are your concerns? What do you think is the best path forward?

Talk to Congressman Schweikert about the issues of rising gas prices, energy independence, and the Keystone Pipeline as he holds a media availability to take questions and pump your gas:

WHAT:  Rep. Schweikert media availability to discuss and take questions about rising gas prices, energy independence, and the Keystone Pipeline

WHEN:  Wednesday, March 14, at 7:00-8:45 a.m. MST

WHERE:  Danny’s Family Car Wash
15515 N. Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85254

“Since President Obama has taken office, gas prices have nearly tripled. We are currently staring down $5 dollars for a gallon gas by the end of this summer.

“It is no secret that this Administration’s energy policies have failed. Pouring billions of dollars into failed renewable energy companies that go bankrupt, is not a sustainable policy, and neither is failing to address our own resources at home.

“We must continue to work toward an all-of-the-above energy strategy that weans us off foreign oil and incorporates our natural resources. I look forward to hearing from you at the pump,” said Rep. Schweikert.
