Congressional Art Competition
2020 Congressional Art Competition
About the Competition:
In 1982, Congress established an art competition to showcase the talents of our nation’s young artists. Each spring, thousands of high school students from around the country participate for the opportunity to have their work displayed prominently in the tunnels and walkways of the U.S. Capitol Building.
The competition is open to high school students residing or attending school within the Congressional District 6 boundaries.
As we all adjust to the current reality regarding social distancing, the Congressional Institute is pushing back the deadlines for the 2020 Congressional Art Competition. Please check back for further updates and other important dates.
Students are encouraged to work directly with their high school art teacher regarding art submissions and important dates and deadlines. For any questions or concerns, please call 480-946-2411.
