Congressional Art Competition
2021 Congressional Art Competition
Submissions for Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District, 2021 Congressional Art Competition, An Artistic Discovery, is opening. My office looks forward to working with our local high school art teachers and students submitting artwork during the annual competition this spring.
About the Competition:
In 1982, Congress established an art competition to showcase the talents of our nation’s young artists. Each spring, thousands of high school students from around the country participate for the opportunity to have their work displayed prominently in the tunnels and walkways of the U.S. Capitol Building.
The competition is open to high school students residing or attending school within Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District boundaries, and the art submission deadline is scheduled for April 26th, at the Scottsdale Artists’ School, through pre-scheduled appointments. Students are strongly encouraged to work directly with their high school art teacher regarding the 2021 art submission rules, student release forms, and important dates and deadlines.
