A Message from Congressman Schweikert
We are here to be a resource for constituents who are currently traveling overseas. Our office has recently helped Arizonans traveling abroad communicate with the U.S. Department of State to return home. If you or a loved one is stuck overseas, please feel welcome to contact our office by email or phone (480) 946-2411. Below are helpful resources from the U.S. Department of State.
The U.S. State Department is currently experiencing a severe backlog of passports and delays for Americans traveling internationally. Right now, the State Department has an 18 week delay on requesting a new passport. If you are planning international travel, it is important to plan ahead for new passport requests or check the expiration date on your current passport.
