Military Service Recognition: This certificate is presented to individuals in AZ-6 who are currently an active soldier or a veteran and have strove to improve the lives of others. The purpose of this recognition is to honor Veterans and current service members who have performed good works to improve our community.
Examples: a current service member actively volunteering for a veteran’s home, veteran who frequently volunteers at a non-profit, veteran or active service member who has completed a feat of heroism in our community
Educational Achievement Recognition: This certificate is presented to students and teachers who have excelled in their academic career or service to their school and community. The purpose of this award is to honor students and teachers who have worked hard to advance their own academic success and improve the lives of those around them.
Examples: U.S. Presidential Scholar, Valedictorian, Teacher of the Year, Representing AZ 06 in state or regional competition, Appointment to one of the Military Academies, School Sports Coach of the year, Deans/Presidents/Principal’s list for above average GPA
First Responder Recognition: This certificate is presented to individuals in AZ-6 who put the wellbeing of others before their own to protect and serve our community. The purpose of this recognition is to honor the First Responders who continually sacrifice their own safety for the betterment of others.
Examples: Retirement from the force, community service outside of normal duties, feats of heroism, awards for service
Community Achievement Recognition: This certificate is presented to an individual or individuals, non-profit, church or charity who have been awarded for their achievements, or who go above and beyond for members of AZ-6. The purpose of this recognition is to honor residents of our community who work and strive to improve the lives of those in need.
Examples: Awards recognizing charity achievement, good Samaritan in the community, successful fundraisers, artists who are featured
Business Achievement Recognition: This certificate is presented to businesses who have reached an important milestone, have done charitable works in our community, or have gone to great lengths to support their employees. The purpose of this award is to recognize businesses who have gained success and have worked to improve the lives of others.
Examples: 1st/5th/10th anniversary of a business, business being awarded “Healthies Place to Work”, business being named one of Arizona’s top 10 restaurants, community service donations
