Congressman David Schweikert Announces Chief of Staff Departure

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman David Schweikert (AZ-06) announced the departure of his Chief of Staff Katherina Dimenstein, who has served as Schweikert’s longtime senior aide, at the end of this week.

Dimenstein departs the office after having served as Chief of Staff since July of 2018, previously serving as Legislative Director during the 115th Congress. “I want to thank Katherina for her dedication and service to Arizona’s 6th District over the last eight years. She did an outstanding job for our office, especially her excellent work on promoting strong trade relationships for Arizona and helping modernize our tax code through the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. She’s an incredibly valued member of our team, and we will miss her.” said Congressman David Schweikert

“I am incredibly thankful for Congressman Schweikert’s support as I move on to this next step in my career. It has been an honor to work for David, and alongside the best team on Capitol Hill.  David provided me the incredible opportunity to serve the people of Arizona, and I am forever grateful for his trust and support. I look forward to continuing to follow David’s work to provide opportunity and success for all Arizonans.” said Katherina Dimenstein

The Congressman’s long time District Director and Deputy Chief of Staff Kevin Knight will take over as Acting Chief of Staff.
