    Limited self-guided tours are available from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM Tuesday through Thursday as well as 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM Friday through Saturday, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. Please note that obtaining a White House tour can be very difficult, tour requests may be submitted 7 to 90 days in advance. Each person in your tour party must provide security information to the White House via an rsvp link within 72 hours of making the reservation. The self-guided tour lasts from 35 to 45 minutes and includes the public rooms in the East Wing and the Residence. The White House is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500.     The Capitol Visitor Center is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Reservations are recommended for a tour, especially during the months of March, April, May, June, July, August, December. All tours are led by our professional tour guides and includes the Crypt, the Rotunda and National Statuary Hall. The tour route is subject to change. Please note the House and Senate Galleries are separate from the tour. The U.S. Capitol is located at First St NE, Washington, DC 20515.     Watching Congress in Session
    The House Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays and when House is in session. The Senate Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays and opens 30 minutes prior to the Senate’s convening. The passes required for entry may be obtained from our office located in 166 Cannon House Office Building, 27 Independence Ave SE, Washington, DC 20003. If you’re traveling using the metro, the closest stop is Capitol South on the Silver, Blue and Orange lines, and Union Station on the Red line.     Limited self-guided tours of the FBI Headquarters are available from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Due to the sensitive nature of the tour, the FBI will only allow U.S. Citizens and valid Green Card holders to tour the office building. The self-guided tour typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and includes interactive multimedia exhibits and historical artifacts. The FBI Headquarters is located at 301 935 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20535. If you’re traveling using the metro, the closest stop is Federal Triangle on the Orange and Blue lines, and Archives on the yellow and green lines.     Congressionally reserved tours are offered at 12:30 PM Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. All other tours run from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Because lectures take place inside the Courtroom, they are subject to cancellation due to Court business. The Supreme Court is located at 1 First St NE, Washington, DC 20543. If you’re traveling using the metro, the closest stop is Capitol South on the Silver, Blue and Orange lines, and Union Station on the Red line.     Tours are available from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and December 24th,2025 through January 1, 2026. The tours are approximately 45 minutes in length and showcase the skilled craftsmanship of their currency experts. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is located at 301 14th St SW, Washington, DC 20228. If you’re traveling using the metro, the closest stop is Smithsonian on the Blue and Orange lines.     Tours are available the 1st and 3rd Saturday morning of each month excluding some holiday weekends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The tours are approximately one hour in length and showcase the Salmon Chase, Andrew Johnson Suites, and the Cash Room. The tour begins at the West Entrance of the Department of Treasury located at 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC.     Please choose three dates everyone in your party is available to tour the White House. Tours are available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The tours are self-guided.




    White House tours can only be requested 21 to 90 days in advance of the tour.

    Each person in your tour party must submit the requested security information to the White House via a link they provide following the submitted reservation. Once a reservation has been submitted, the party has seven days to fill out the White House requested information. If all members of the party do not register, the submission will be canceled. Please contact our office if this occurs to resubmit the reservation.
