WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman David Schweikert released the following statement after being named a leader on the 2020 Humane Scorecard on behalf of the Humane Society Legislative Fund and the Humane Society of the United States for his pro-animal voting record over the course of 2020. 



“Throughout my time in Congress, I have been a consistent leader on animal welfare issues and co-sponsored several pieces of legislation to protect animals that lack a voice. I will continue to support policy to protect animals, and I thank the Humane Society Legislative Fund and the Humane Society of the United States for their thoughtful advocacy and recognition of my pro-animal record.”
