WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Schweikert (AZ-06) recognized the 2019 Congressional App Challenge winners for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District.
The Congressional App Challenge winners are BASIS Scottsdale students Bianca Hanley, Zakary Hori, Jeffrey Liang and Ben Plate. The group developed ThoughtCache, an app where users can store and retrieve thoughts.
The Congressional App Challenge is an annual competition that challenges students across the country to create their own app, and the winning apps are displayed in the U.S. Capitol. The challenge seeks to inspire innovative students across the country to further explore the computer science field. Thank you to all the students who submitted apps for the Congressional App Challenge. Our office looks forward to reviewing next year’s submissions
