Congressman Schweikert Announces Congressional App Challenge Winner

WASHINGTON, DCToday, Congressman David Schweikert announced the 2018 Congressional App Challenge winner for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District.

This year, the Congressional App Challenge winner from Arizona’s 6th District is Esha Sidhu, from BASIS Scottsdale. Esha created an app focused on time management for high school students juggling school work and extracurricular activities. Esha’s submission showed the difficulty endured in creating the app, and clearly explained the benefit of use for high school students.

The Congressional App Challenge (CAC) is an annual competition created to challenge students across the nation to create their own app for a chance to win the CAC in their home congressional district. The CAC looks to inspire, include, and innovate students across the country in a challenge to further explore the STEM and computer science fields.

Thank you to all of the students who submitted an app for the CAC. Our office looks forward to your submission in next year’s competition.
