Washington, D.C. – Congressman David Schweikert released the following statement after the USDA announced a Specialty Crop Block Grant Program to help support farmers.

“I am very happy to see that the USDA awarded grants to all states for specialty crop programs. This will allow farmers across the United States, but especially in my home state of Arizona, to conduct critical research and carry out extension programs for specialty crops in their state. I will continue to advocate for specialty crop programs in the 2018 Farm Bill.”
