Rep. Schweikert Visits the Border to Discuss Access to Credit and Possible Bottlenecks from Proposed Regulations

(Nogales, AZ) Congressman David Schweikert (AZ-06) holds Access to Credit Day in Nogales to discuss the importance of the financial services industry in our economy, especially in Arizona.

“Small businesses are an essential part of our economy here in Arizona,” said Congressman Schweikert. “As a member of the House Financial Services Committee, I understand the burdens Washington has placed directly on small business owners. I work to stop government interference on the hardworking Arizonans and by doing so, create a stronger economy with greater access to capital.”

The event provides new business owners the opportunity to speak to banks about creating new accounts and ways their businesses can have easier access to credit. In addition, Congressman Schweikert will lead a discussion on the importance of free enterprise and ensuring the various industries near the border have the same access to develop successful businesses as the rest of the state.
