Washington D.C., March 5, 2014—Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ), Chairman of the House Science, Space, and Technology Subcommittee on the Environment, released a statement supporting the United States- Israel Strategic Partnership Act of 2013 (H.R. 938):
“The relationship between the United States and Israel is one of mutual respect, understanding, and support. This bill not only solidifies the strength of a military partnership and the bond of our countries’ mutual interests, but establishes new mechanisms for energy cooperation,” said Chairman Schweikert.
“I support the bill’s establishment of a U.S..- Israel Center of Excellence in energy and water engineering and look forward to the increased technologies our scientists and experts can create together.”
