REP. SCHWEIKERT ON HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY

Washington, D.C. – Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ) released the following statement in recognition of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom HaShoah:

“Today, I join in remembering the 6 million Jews and 5 million other victims of the Holocaust whose life and liberty were stolen simply because of their race and ethnicity.

“This incomprehensible genocide is not an easy thing to remember, but it is imperative that we never forget.

“We must always remember the hope and strength that so many showed despite such evil and terror.

“We must never forget so to ensure ‘never again’ simply doesn’t apply to the past, but also to the future.”
