Scottsdale, AZ –Reps. David Schweikert (AZ-06), Matt Salmon (AZ-05), and Sen. Jeff Flake (AZ) will host an information session for Arizona high school students who are interested in attending United States Service Academies. They released the following details today:
This event is designed to educate high school students and their families about the educational opportunities available through the U.S. Military Academy (USMA), the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA).
Representatives from each U.S. Service Academy will be present to answer questions and there will be a presentation by current U.S. Service Academy cadets who will highlight the benefits of attending a service academy.
Members from Reps. Schweikert, Salmon and Sen. Flake’s staff will also be on hand to explain the Congressional nomination process. All high school students, regardless of age, are welcome.
