Washington, D.C. – Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ) made the following statement today on the second anniversary of President Obama signing Obamacare into law:

“Every new day Americans live under this government takeover of healthcare, we find another broken promise, sweetheart deal, and premium increase.

“Healthcare costs have soared, seniors have been left hurting, and many patients can no longer see their doctors. Further, Americans have seen over $800 billion in new taxes coming out of our pockets to pay for these mandates.

“I am proud to be a part of a House of Representatives that has overturned many facets of this terrible law, and will keep working to finish the job so Obamacare never has the chance to see its third anniversary.”
