REP. SCHWEIKERT ON FAST AND FURIOUS: “OBAMA NEEDS TO STOP PLAYING POLITICS AND COME CLEAN”

Washington, D.C. – Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ), a member of the House Financial Services Committee, joined Fox Business’ Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano Wednesday evening. He discussed the President’s failed jobs bill as well as the dangerous ramifications of Fast and Furious. To view this video, click here.

REP. SCHWEIKERT ON FAST AND FURIOUS IN ARIZONA AND MEXICO

“It is more than the Feds dropping the ball. One of the things I am outraged about is, where are the Woodwards and Bernsteins of the world? Where is the mainstream media understanding the scale of this issue? This is an issue where people are dying. We lost one of our border patrol officers. We have already seen our federal attorney in Arizona have to resign. This is a big story.”

REP. SCHWEIKERT ON PROSECUTION OF ERIC HOLDER

“Judge, I am one of those in the House that is heading toward a special prosecutor. Chairman Issa is doing an amazingly good job with the committee trying to put the facts together and get them properly laid out on a timeline. Let’s face it. If it turns out that our Attorney General misled the committee, the honorable thing is for him to turn in his resignation. The next honorable thing would be for this president to stop playing politics and come clean on what his justice department knew and when they knew it.”
